Thank you to everyone for a great 2011 in all of our subdivisions.
We are excited to announce that construction will begin soon on two new show homes in Southfort Estates. First, we would like to welcome CONCEPT HOMES to the community, with their first show home in Southfort. Also, fans of the existing Homexx show home will be excited to know that they are building a brand new show home across the street from their current location.
It has been a busy year for sales in Southfort Estates, and as you can see from our price list, there are many holds from people looking to get one of the final lots in Stage 7B…So get out there and pick one up before they are all gone!
This past weekend we participated to this year’s Canadian Foodgrains Bank Drive (http://www.foodgrainsbank.ca/) to help raise money to support eliminating hunger in Africa. It was quite a scene seeing all those combines clearing the crop off of hundreds of acres of Southfort land in just a day! Thank you to everyone who helped out, and please take a moment to learn more about the charity and help the cause.
We have gotten a very cooperative September & October from Mother Nature, so we have been able to start some of the finish landscaping in the Southfort Ridge Pond area, as well as almost being complete the asphalt pathways in Southfort Estates 7 & the 92nd Avenue Parkway beside Estates 1/4. This is going to give our community an amazing connectivity so make sure you get out and make use of the trails to explore all of Southfort before the snow falls.
Both the Southfort Ridge tot lot (located between Southfort Ridge Stages 1 and 2) and Henderson Park (located in the park space in Southfort Estates) are now open for playing! Grand opening to be scheduled for spring 2012. We are happy to be involved in making our communities more family friendly through our park building initiatives!
The last eligible lot for our $10,000 off promotion was purchased this week. It was great to see all that activity in Southfort Estates Stage 7B in such a short amount of time. Even if you missed out on the promotion, you should still strongly consider a lot in Southfort Estates. If you take a trip on site you will notice several people currently building some beautiful homes that would be great to live beside. More importantly, the Capital Region Board recently outlawed these size of Estate lots, so this is your last chance to get a 0.3-0.6 acre lot in Fort Saskatchewan! Act fast before they are all gone.
