Spring has almost arrived! Construction has begun on completing Southfort Meadows, and we are proud to announce our builder group: Homexx Homes, Landover Homes, Rayborne Homes, & Stoneridge Homes. All 4 builders will be building new show homes in 2012, but in the meantime, you can reach out to them to learn more about what they can offer for your next home. We will be posting full lot information up on the site soon, and you are able to pre-buy lots through any of the builders, so move swiftly to ensure you get first pick of lots!

We hope everyone is having a great winter! This week the City of Fort Saskatchewan announced they will be building a new police station in the SW corner of the DOW Center lands, directly adjacent to the north portion of our Southfort Gate Commercial lands. Announced with the plans is the city’s intent to connect Town Crest Road to the DOW Center, which is great news for increasing the amount of traffic going past the remaining lots. We are excited to announce that construction will begin soon on two new show homes in Southfort Estates. First, we would like to welcome CONCEPT HOMES to the community, with their first show home in Southfort. Also, fans of the existing Homexx show home will be excited to know that they are building a brand new show home across the street from their current location.
It has been a busy year for sales in Southfort Estates, and as you can see from our price list, there are many holds from people looking to get one of the final lots in Stage 7B…So get out there and pick one up before they are all gone!
This past weekend we participated to this year’s Canadian Foodgrains Bank Drive (http://www.foodgrainsbank.ca/) to help raise money to support eliminating hunger in Africa. It was quite a scene seeing all those combines clearing the crop off of hundreds of acres of Southfort land in just a day! Thank you to everyone who helped out, and please take a moment to learn more about the charity and help the cause.
We have gotten a very cooperative September & October from Mother Nature, so we have been able to start some of the finish landscaping in the Southfort Ridge Pond area, as well as almost being complete the asphalt pathways in Southfort Estates 7 & the 92nd Avenue Parkway beside Estates 1/4. This is going to give our community an amazing connectivity so make sure you get out and make use of the trails to explore all of Southfort before the snow falls.
